Leaving Iowa

Directed By Ben Johnston

Leaving Iowa is the story of Don Browning, who returns home and decides to finally take his father's ashes to his childhood home, as requested. But when Don discovers Grandma's house is now a grocery store, he begins traveling across Iowa searching for a proper resting place for his father. This father-and-son road trip shifts smoothly from the present to Don's memories of the annual, torturous vacations of his childhood. Don's existential journey leads him to reconcile his past and present at the center of the United States. Written by Tom Clue and Spike Manton

The Wacky Wizard of Oz!

Director: Adrianna Korgel

Tech Director: Jim Provance

When a twister carries Dorothy and Toto to the Land of Oz the result is… wacky! Dorothy steps out in her Ruby Crocks and onto a yellow-bricked comical adventure. Encouraged by a bunch of silly Munchkins, a brainy Scarecrow, a tender-hearted Tin Man, and a plucky Cowardly Lion, Dorothy seeks out the not too terribly Terrible Wizard of Oz and confronts the epically aqua-phobic Wicked Witch of the West. This fast, funny, and contemporary adaptation of The Wizard of Oz is filled with jokes, gags, puns, and surprises.
